PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant chaired a meeting of government departments implementing various schemes like Atal Asra, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, schemes for OBC, Housing Schemes under Rural Development Authority (RDA), etc.
The CM reviewed the implementation of various schemes of these Departments. He also reviewed the impediments in implementing these schemes and directed the officials to do away with the same.
Sawant further advised the heads of these departments to release the financial assistance for scholarships on time. He stressed on ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach the people who need them.
Housing Board Chairman and Shiroda MLA Subhash Shirodkar; RDA Secretary Y Rajshekhar; Director of the Department of Social Welfare Umeshchandra Joshi; Director of the Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (GIPARD), Sanjay Gihar; Director of RDA Meena Goltekar; Deputy Director of Social Welfare Taha Haziq; Director of the Tribal Welfare Department Triveni Velip and other officials were present for the meeting.
