CM clears host of infra projects

PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar cleared various infrastructure projects to the tune of Rs 63.8 crore.
The works include augmentation of water supply scheme at Chandel from 15 MLD to 30 MLD in Pernem taluka and construction of another 5 MLD WTP at Chandel at a cost Rs 30.3 crore.
The CM also cleared the hot-mixing of road along boundary of Goa Engineering College in Farmagudi at a cost of Rs 75.57 lakh; besides, construction of new building for police outpost at St Cruz at Rs 1.11 cr.
The chief minister also cleared files for improvement of water supply to Porvorim of construction of 650 m3 OHR at Dhonwado and providing and laying 200 mm dia in pumping main at Dhonwado in Porvorim  Rs 3.55 crore. Besides, the work of design, construction commissioning of 15 MLD water treatment plant at Housing board Porvorim was also cleared worth Rs 25.46 crore.
CM also cleared file for maintenance of water supply in Quepem taluka of Rs 5.94 lakh.
Also file pertaining to Corrosion resistance treatment for Amona-Khandola bridge for Rs 2.13 cr was also cleared.
