PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday stated that notices have been sent to 100 Contractors and Engineers to repair roads by Ganesh Chaturthi.
In October all the roads will have to be redone at the contractors’ cost. Sawant said that starting from 1st October the PWD will come up with App based ‘Integrated Management System’
All the concerned departments will be logged on to this app. Additionally all the details regarding the roads and connected departments will be available on this app.
If any roads wears off or develops potholes, the contractors as well as engineers will be held accountable. They will have to repair the roads at their own cost.
