CM flies to Delhi for a regular check-up

PANJIM: Hours after the Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly concluded, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar flew to New Delhi for a regular check-up at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Parrikar, who is suffering from pancreatic cancer, was being treated at his private residence at Dona Paula since October 14, when he was discharged from AIIMS.
“CM will be flying to Delhi tonight (Thursday) for regular check up at AIIMS. He is expected to be admitted there for the next four days,” a senior official of the Chief Minister’s office said.
Parrikar had presented the State Budget on January 30 and participated on all three days of the Session.
