Panjim: AAP Goa on Friday lamented that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has no time for the people of Goa or to deal with the problems faced by them.
AAP Convenor Surel Tilve said that the fact can be witnessed when the CM visited the Melauli village even though the villagers have been agitating against the IIT project for months now.
“It is very interesting to note that the CM rushed to help and support the ‘outsiders’ like Adani but has no time for the people of Goa who made him their CM,” said Tilve.
“The Goans are also protesting against the coal and railway double-tracking. We have been witnessing midnight protests to stop the work and our volunteers have participated in these rallies and are also a part of it. Can the CM tell us how long it will take for him to meet the people of Goa and listen to them,” said AAP spokesperson Sandesh Telekar.
