PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat condoled the death of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, who allegedly committed suicide in Mumbai on Sunday.
In his condolence message, Sawant wrote, “Shocked by the demise of young Bollywood Sensation and talented actor #SushantSinghRajput. My condolences to his family and followers”.
Taking to social media, Rane wrote, “Shocked to learn about the untimely demise of a talented superstar #SushantSinghRajput. Your zeal and talent will surely be missed. My deepest condolences to his friends, family and fan following. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Om Shanti!”
Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat also expressed shock at the development. “Shocked with the news of unfortunate death of young actor Sushant Singh Rajput. My condolences to his family & fans. May his soul rest in peace,” he said.
Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte said, “Disturbing and heartbreaking to hear about #SushantSinghRajput’s demise. He was a fine actor who left a significant mark in the world of cinema.”
