PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Monday returned to his office at the Secretariat after a gap of over a week.
He also inaugurated the Single Window Portal of Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board, which will be a one-stop shop for all approvals required by industry.
Sources said the Chief Minister cleared important files of the education and finance departments.
The Chief Minister’s office in a message revealed that Parrikar on Monday unveiled the foundation stone for infrastructure works of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Vidhya Sankul at Cujira.
“The works will include creation of new access road, improved parking lot and sewage treatment plant. The ceremony was held at the CM’s office at the Secretariat, Porvorim,” the CMO said.
Parrikar, who is suffering from pancreatic cancer, had returned to office on New Year’s Day after a gap of over three months.
