PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte on Tuesday distributed the first 50 laptops to five schools from Panjim and surrounding areas under the Cyber-age Scheme on Children’s Day.
With this, the process of distributing 35,000 laptops to students of Class Xl and Xll under the government cyber-age scheme officially begun.
He said, “The government had implemented the Cyber Age scheme with the intention to make our students well versed and more accessible to the knowledge of the modern world.”
