However, the Budget includes revenue receipts of Rs 754 crore generated through e-auction of 5.2 million tonnes of ore in 2014.
“Mining activity is yet to start. We cannot consider the revenue from it in anticipation in the Budget. We will have to wait for the industry to resume,” Parsekar told media.
“I can’t say when mining will start. The suspension on Environment Clearances has been lifted few days back. We can’t plan in anticipation,” he said.
“The mining sector which contributed immensely to the economy in generating income and employment, came to stand-still, badly affecting the people as well as the State exchequer,” Chief Minister said in his Budget.
