CM: Over 8,000 jobs to be advertised in next 2 yrs

Says Cong should not teach him lessons on Mhadei as he is well aware of the issue

BICHOLIM: Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant said that in next two years the government will advertise more than 8,000 vacancies in various departments.

The chief minister said this while speaking at a meeting at Mulgao, Bicholim.

“We know that in every household job problem is existing and everyone feels that he should get a job. It is very difficult to survive if there is no job. There should be atleast Rs 15000 to Rs 20000 that should come in a family,” Sawant said.

He regretted that during last few years they were unable to advertise for jobs and were able to give very few jobs. “Our time period is not yet over and we still have another two years. We all know that even next five years are of BJP. We will advertise jobs on a large scale in next two years.”

He said there would be increase in rights of the ZPs. “There will be increase in powers of ZPs and also the fund given to them. We will given them rights to implement several schemes of the government at the grassroot level,” the chief minister said.

Speaking on the Mhadei issue he said the Congress should not teach him lessons as he is well aware of the issue and expressed confidence that they would win the case in the supreme court.

“By taking press conferences seating in Panjim would not solve the Mhadei issue. I am in the Mhadei agitation since 2000. We are serious about the issue and confident that we will win the case in the Supreme Court,” he said.
