CM Parrikar to return today

PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is likely to return to Goa on Sunday morning. Sources in the government revealed that Parrikar, admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi since early September, will be flown to Goa in a chartered air ambulance.
“The CM is likely to be brought to Goa in a special flight on Sunday from New Delhi. The doctors who are treating him at the hospital will certify on Sunday morning whether he is fit to travel back home,” an official in CMO said.
“He will be shifted to his house at Dona Paula and be under medical observation round-the-clock. Once his return is confirmed, he will be taken back to Delhi for a checkup 15 days later,” the official added.
The news of Parrikar’s return comes a day after he met with BJP’s Goa core committee.
