PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday gave Goan sportspersons reason for joy and renewed efforts.
Speaking at a felicitation function for Goa chess queen Bhakti Kulkarni here on Monday, the CM said, “Goan sportspersons bringing glory to the country on an individual level would be considered for appointments at the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG). The State would do everything necessary to encourage sports.”

Sawant revealed that the State Government is working on a reservation policy for sports personalities. “This would be in place once freedom fighters’ reservations are done,” he said.
