PANJIM: Without detailing the scope, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Wednesday proposed to notify new Rules to regulate the operations of casinos in the State.
In his Budget 2022-23, Sawant said new Rules under the Goa, Daman & Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 will be introduced to streamline and regulate the operations of Casinos.
Addressing the media, he refused to speak anything in detail. “We are working on it and you will come to know,” he said.
