PANJIM: In a decisive statement, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that all MLAs include leader of opposition Yuri Alemao have agreed that all taxi operators have to go on the aggregator app. He also said they will have to use App based metres.
“We will take care of all their demands. The protest is politically motivated, targeting the chief minister,” Sawant said. He said the local MLAs had been taken into confidence on this.
Sawant alleged that the protest was politically motivated and there were attempt to instigate the taxi operators. I know the people of Pernem. In the past we have made adjustments to give them a taxi stand and made provisions for operating blue cabs.
