PANJIM: When Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was asked questions by mediapersons on three major issues concerning Goa, after the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he responded to all three major issues by saying reports will be submitted soon.
He ducked questions on the DGP’s transfer and said the inquiry is on in the Assagao case and I will give the report. Similarly, in the Kala Academy leakage and artistes protesting issue he said, “I will give the report”. In the third case with regard to three landslide by the NH 66 at Naibag and Dhargal, he said, “The report has not come, I have asked for the report.”
In the Assagao house demolition case CM said, “The inquiry is on. The inquiry report will be given to me. I will give it as soon as possible.” When asked about the DGP’s transfer issue with regard to his alleged complicity in the Assagao demolition, CM evaded the issue.
Asked about the Kala Rakhonn Mandd meeting, CM shot back and said, “ What should I do? I have said, I will give the Kala Academy report.”
Regarding the Naibag landslides and collapsing of walls for the third time, CM replied, “I have asked for submission of the report. The report ( about the loss) has not yet come. Already the Disaster Management Committee is working on the field. It will take time for the report to come. We have closed the road completely, we have opened the road on the other side. We will open it after it is cleared. I have asked to submit the report.”
Regarding blacklisting of contractors, the CM said, “I will tell you.”
