PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and a delegation of secretaries and senior officials of State departments held a video conference meeting with Niti Aayog on Wednesday evening. Niti Aayog member Dr V K Saraswat led the discussions which saw a presentation made on Goa’s record on Niti Aayog’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Index.
“Team Goa had a fruitful interaction with Niti Aayog led by Dr V K Saraswat along with officials from concerned Ministries on various Goa specific issues. I sincerely thank Niti Aayog for this initiative which will help in resolving the issues pertaining to Goa, thereby fostering cooperative federalism, the key principle followed by the ‘Modi Sarkar’ in Centre-State relations,” said Sawant after the meeting.
