PANJIM: Ahead of the scheduled interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the beneficiaries and stakeholders of Swayampurna Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will be holding a thorough review meeting on Saturday at 11 am.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) added that the PM interaction will most probably take place on October 23.

“In preparation of the same, the CM will be holding a video conference with all stakeholders of Swayampurna Goa that includes the Swayampurna mitras, village panchayat secretaries, the chief officers of municipalities, panchs, councillors, the taluka nodal officers, the head of the departments and the IAS officers who are working as Parivekshaks. The focus of tomorrow’s interaction will be the identification and selection of participants for the interaction with the Prime Minister,” said the CMO in a statement.

At the meeting, Sawant will be reviewing the final number of participants and the beneficiaries for the interaction with the PM.

“This programme has almost completed one year and several achievements of the programme have been appreciated by Modi and that is the main reason why he wants to interact,” said Sawant.
