PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will hold a two-hour long virtual interaction with students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders on September 17 on various issues including the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the amalgamation of primary schools.
Sawant also informed that the Education Department will launch the Nipun Bharat Mission concept during the live interaction.
Sawant, who holds the Education portfolio, on Thursday held a review meeting with the officials of the Directorate of Education with regards to the online interaction, scheduled next week.
As per the press statement issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity (DIP), during the online interaction, the Chief Minister will be deliberating on issues like NEP, the merger of primary schools, mid-day meal, Mulyavardhan Shikshan concept-value-based education programme, etc.
The local sarpanchas and panch members are also directed to attend it online.
