CM’s visit made a difference in QMC’s polls win: BJP

QUEPEM: The Quepem Municipal Council elections victory for BJP was reflection of the Chief Minister’s visit in Quepem, few days before the municipal elections which boosted the moral and confidence of the party workers, especially  who are responsible for the development of grassroots level of the BJP party in Quepem municipal jurisdiction, stated Yogesh Kunkolikar on Friday, who is one of contributor and creator of platform to BJP Party in Quepem Constituency in past many years.

“Before that I had received support from our former Chief Minister late Manhoar Parrikar,” claimed Yogesh.

He said, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Quepem Constituency has seen lot of development works, because he is personally keeping attention about the proceedings of the party. Also during discussions, he strongly believes in grassroots development of the party, especially, Booth Committee, which is the main source for overall development of the party.”

“If the Booth Committees are not trusted and given importance then it will be a downfall for the party, so it’s very important for Quepem Constituency to develop Booth Committees in the municipalities as well as village levels told Chief Minister Sawant during his visit to Quepem along with former BJP South Goa Member of Parliament Narendra Sawaikar,” he added.

“During his visit, the Chief Minister also interacted with the party workers of Quepem Constituency and said this time Quepem Constituency definitely will have a BJP seat elected in the coming Assembly elections,” Yogesh said.
