MARGAO: The code of conduct in force has resulted in the agenda for the Carmona Gram Sabha scheduled on 7th April being amended with some of the major issues facing the people not featuring in the amended agenda.
As per the amended agenda after confirming the minutes of the previous gram sabha, the budget for the financial year 2019-20 will be discussed following which the proposal by M/s Bullion Infrastructure to convert 90,000 square metres of land to eco tourism will be discussed.
Other matters that were there on the agenda like the proposal by the Electricity Department to take over management of the street lights, jurisdiction of Zalor beach and development of the football ground by Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation have been dropped from the agenda as they pertain to developmental works.
