COG to hold presentation on RP21

MARGAO: Concerned Citizens of Goa (COG) will hold a public presentation on the Regional Plan 2021 (RP21) at Lohia Maidan, Margao, on December 28, from 6 pm to 8pm.

At the meeting, CCOG will explain all details of the RP21 and answer the questions from the people about the same.
It will also use Google Earth to give real-time data and an idea of the anomalies in the RP.
The group has invited all interested citizens to attend the presentation.
The Federation of Rainbow Warriors (FRW), the Village Groups of Goa (VGG), and residents of South Goa and Ponda have raised alarm over the RP21, which they claimed is not people-friendly. With Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and TCP Minister Francis D’Souza ruling out plans to scrap the RP, there appears to be a storm on the horizon for the government.
