BICHOLIM: North Goa Collector R Menaka on Saturday inspected flood affected places at Sal in Amona and other areas of Bicholim taluka.
Bicholim Mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit accompanied the collector.
On the occasion, the collector directed the mamlatdar to assess the loss incurred by the general public and farmers due to floods and submit their claims for compensation.
The mamlatdar informed the collector that he has already prepared a preliminary assessment of damage caused to the houses and fields/plantations and would submit her, the report for granting compensation to the affected persons.
