VALPOI: North Goa Collector R Maneka on Friday inspected the proposed IIT Goa Project site at Murmune village and conducted a survey of the land on which the institute would be built.
She was accompanied by Sattari Mamlatdar Anil Rane, Joint Mamlatdar Sanjiveeni Satardekar and survey department officials.
The IIT project would be built on 10 lakh sq mts of land belonging to the Revenue Department.
Meanwhile, the locals have called for maintaining ecological balance while undertaking construction.
