MAPUSA: Nineteen-year-old Vaishnavi Gajanan Narvekar, a resident of Oxel Siolim was found dead at her residence at Oxel. She is said to have committed suicide.
According to police, the incident took place on Monday night when thegirl’s parents were out for a function and she was home with her granny. When her parents came home they found her hanging from a ceiling fan.
The girl was a second year student of Xavier’s College, Mapusa. Anjuna police conducted panchanama and handed over the body to the family.
