COLLEM: A 16-year-old boy from Kumbarmal-Collem allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence on Saturday night.
According to Collem PSI Sachin Lokhre, the incident came to light on Sunday morning. The boy, who had recently passed from Std 9, committed suicide by hanging himself with the help of nylon rope.
Collem Police conducted the panchanama and sent the body to GMC Hospital for post-mortem. Later, the body was handed over to his relatives for final rites and police is investigating the case.
