MARGAO: Out of six police stations from Salcete, two landline numbers namely Colva Police Station and Konkan Railway Police Station are non-functional from Monday, which is causing inconvenience to the general public.
According to the information available from sources in the police, the telephone number of Konkan Railway Police station has become ‘dead’ while the number of Colva Police Station, which takes care of the coastal belt, is non-functional and not working.
When an officer was contacted on his mobile he said that there is some problem with Colva Police Station landline number while the officer on duty at Konkan Railway Police Station said that phone is ‘dead’.
