MARGAO: While police have traced two of the three minor girls allegedly kidnapped from the protection home they were housed in at Colva, the third girl is still at large.
Sources disclosed that the two girls traced were found at their home living with their parents while the search is still on for the third girl.
It may be recalled that the three girls were housed in the protection home after they were rescued by the police in kidnapping and rape cases some months back.
Colva Police received a complaint on December 5 that three girls from the home were kidnapped by an unknown person.
Accordingly PSI Subhash Gaonkar registered an offence under Section 363 IPC and also under Section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act.
