MARGAO: The accused in the Colva supermarket robbery was arrested by Colva police on Thursday afternoon.
Pravin Palkar, aged 25, was arrested by the Colva Police on the charges of committing robbery at Sho Faz supermarket in the morning at 8 am. The accused had robbed bag of Rs 88,000 from supermarket. The accused is a resident of Sai Nagar Davorlim-Navelim.
The accused has been booked under the Section 380 of IPC. According to the police the accused is a sales boy for Goana foods.
The team that arrested the accused include PI Filomeno Costa, PSI Anand Shirodkar, LPSI Smita Morajkar, PC Somnath Naik, Ajay Naik and others.
