MARGAO: Moments after the Centre filed an affidavit in the apex court naming three persons in the black money case, Goan miner Radha Timblo said she would offer her comment only after having a look at the affidavit filed in the Supreme Court.

“The matter is presently before the Supreme court. An affidavit is being field in the Supreme Court. I have to first find out what is mentioned in the affidavit before offering any comment”, she told the waiting media as she walked out of her building opposite Hari Mandir at around 1.30 pm on Monday.
Before being driven away by her waiting Audi car, Radha refused to shed any light on the black money case other than saying she would definitely come back to the media after going through the affidavit. ‘Give me a copy of the affidavit if you have one”, Radha told a journalist to a persistent query to throw light on the black money case.
She dogged a question over the past IT raids and searches conducted at her business premises, saying she would come back to the media with a proper explanation.
Timblo’s business office housed in the Kadar Manzil building opposite Hari Mandir was the cynosure of all eyes with TV channels flashing news of the Centre’s affidavit filed in the Supreme Court this morning.
Initially, a group of security men manning her house refused entry for the media to the office housed on the first floor of the building. But Radha, who was holed inside the office, later agreed to talk to the media as she came out of the office to leave for home in a waiting car.
Though the black money case threatens to kick up a storm in the country, a smiling Radha put up a brave face and appeared calm and composed as she walked downstairs to the car.
