PANJIM : The State Government has constituted a special 30-member committee with people from the field of art and culture under Minister for Art and Culture Govind Gaude, to recommend measures to help the artistes, who were deprived platform or programmes during pandemic period.
“The Committee will guide the Government and understand the grievances of the artists and give suggestions,” reads the notification issued by the Director of Art and Culture Sagun Velip.
The State government has recently announced Rs 5000, one time financial assistance for marginal section of the society, who were affected with the pandemic.
