MARGAO: The mother of the complainant in the Francisco (Mickky) Pacheco parachute damage case has filed an application for intervention in the application filed by Mickky  seeking anticipatory bail. Pacheco’s vehicle which had been earlier confiscated has been released after due process.
Fanny Elanie Da Silva, the mother of complainant Melroy Da Silva, has prayed to the court to make her an intervener in the case claiming that she wants justice in the case. Verna Police too have filed their say in the case and have prayed for rejection of bail to Pacheco. Police claimed that Pacheco’s three accomplices in the case are only known to the accused and hence he is required in police custody for interrogation.
Meanwhile, in the anticipatory bail plea, the former MLA has accused the complainant of being a Portuguese national and doing business in Goa without a work permit. Pacheco, in his application, also alleged that the complainant has supported his political opponent in the last Assembly election and has publicly given speeches against him along with his father.
