PANJIM: A youth has lodged a complaint against Bollywood actor Pratik Babbar (son of Rajya Sabha Member and actor Raj Babbar) from abusing him and his cousin.
Babbar’s car was allegedly involved in a minor accident after which he entered into a confrontation with biker Paulo Correia and his cousin prompting the police complaint at Porvorim police station.
“While I was travelling on my bike with my cousin from Parra to St Cruz we were hit by a car. When we followed him (Babbar) he got off the car with a female. He started abusing me and my cousin with filthy language,” the complainant stated. Correia further alleged that Babbar threatened him, caught his neck and assaulted him.
Porvorim police have begun an inquiry into the matter and were recording statements of both parties till late evening on Wednesday.
