PANJIM: Aires Rodrigues has filed a complaint to the Chief Electoral Officer against the transfer of police officers by former DGP Muktesh Chander in view of the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
In his complaint, Aires has stated that transfers are arbitrary and not carried out in compliance with the Election Commission directives. He informed that a copy of the complaint has been sent to the Chief Election Commissioner of India.
