PANJIM: A formal complaint was lodged with Crime Branch on Saturday against various people including Sanguem Police Inspector Sagar Ekoskar, PSI Sudin Redkar and Netravali Deputy Sarpanch Abhijit Desai for abduction, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, assault, threat to kill and abuse.
The complaint has been lodged by Netravali resident Amit Naik. Others accused in the complaint are Ulhas Gawas, Prakash Bhagat and Constable Somesh Phaldessai.
In his complaint, Amit stated that on March 25, 2018, at about 8.30 pm, when he was in his village, all of a sudden one yellow colour Maruti Breeza Car bearing registration number “GA-09-D-4000” appeared.
“Then, Abhijeet Desai, Panchas Ulhas Gawas and Prakash Bhagat and Police Constable Somesh Phaldessai emerged from the car and forcibly dragged inside the Breeza car,” Amit stated in his complaint.
