Social worker Warren Alemao alleges possible lapses in medical and safety protocols, calls for investigation into compliance with AIFF and FIFA guidelines.
A complaint has been submitted to the South Goa Superintendent of Police seeking the registration of an FIR and a comprehensive investigation into the death of footballer Dylan during a Goa Football Association (GFA)-recognised inter-village football tournament.

The complaint, filed by social worker Warren Alemao, raises concerns over whether the mandatory medical and safety protocols prescribed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and FIFA were fully complied with during the tournament.
Alemao has urged the police to investigate whether essential emergency medical facilities, including an ambulance, qualified medical personnel, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), oxygen support and other lifesaving equipment, were available at the venue as required.
He has also requested authorities to examine tournament sanction documents, venue inspection reports, medical compliance records and other relevant documentation. In addition, he has sought the recording of statements from GFA officials, tournament organisers, match referees and witnesses as part of the investigation.
Alemao further called on the police to initiate appropriate legal action if the inquiry establishes any negligence or violations of prescribed safety norms in connection with the footballer’s death.
