There have been a lot of complaints that junior officers have been
appointed as administrators in Panchayats. When Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho
was asked this question, he said they will be supervised by the Block
Development Officer and ultimately him. “We will act on complaints if any,” he
said. “We want smooth functioning and it is only for three months. We will
study reservations in the meanwhile and the process will be completed in four
months,” Mauvin said.
