MARGAO: Conception De Tuem has refuted all the allegations made by Francis De Tuem in the press briefing held earlier in Margao.
In his briefing, claiming innocence, Conception alleged that from the video it is clear that there was a premeditated plan to attack him and hence he had informed the reporters regarding the same.
Recalling one such incident which happened earlier during the month, Conception said, “On July 10 lot of hue and cry was made by one person from the crowd and I had pacified him advising him to come and see me after the show.”
“His wife was also an artist in the past and she had to have respect for the stage” Conception said adding, “I have spoken the truth (for which) I have been assaulted; I am the only person who has been assaulted on the stage till date. If I was wrong, take me to task,” the tiatrist said.
“I will reveal the names as soon as I get them,” he assured.
Commenting on the meeting of the tiatr fraternity on Wednesday, Conception said, “The decision has to be all inclusive. There has to be unity amongst the tiatrists. I did not get any chance to speak there and there was no discussion on the assault inflicted on me.”
Conception said he would continue singing kantars in the same way as he did earlier, but nonetheless would abide by the decision of the tiatrists.
