PERNEM: The National Highway 17 between Dhargal and Patradevi is in bad condition, due to which motorists have been facing immense hardship.
The stretch between Patradevi and Tamboxem, Ugvem and Satarda Bridge, Malpe and Virnoda and Dhargal to Colvale Bridge are full of potholes. As such, these stretches are more dangerous, where a number of accidents have occurred in the last few months alone.
Besides, there are no proper sign boards along this stretch and this is causing confusion among motorists. And a landslide on the highway at Ugvem has not been cleared since last two months.
