MARGAO: A condolence meeting to pay respect to multifaceted personality Gurunath Kelekar, who died suddenly on January 19, will be held on January 30, at the Konkani Bhavan, Vidyanagar, here, from 5 pm.

Gurunath founded the Marg Trust, which is associated with amity to roads and was also a freedom fighter, a well-known Konkani writer and a social activist, who died at the age of 91.
Marg has organised the condolence meeting titled “Shradanjali Sabha”, which will be attended by Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, MLAs Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, Vijai Sardessai along with representatives of Freedom Fighters Association, Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Goa Konkani Academi, Dakshinayan Abhiyaan, Bailancho Ekvott, 18th June Krantidin Samiti, Civic Clubs of Marg Trust and family members of Gurunath Kelekar.
Chairman of Marg Trust Prashant Naik has appealed to everyone who was associated with Kelekar to attend the meeting.
