Condolences poured in from various quarters over the death of M Boyer today.
Chief Minister Digambar Kamat in his condolence message said that M Boyer is the greatest dramatist Goa has ever produced. In his lifetime M Boyer has enthralled the audience with his songs, particularly comedy songs.
M Boyer has written several Konkani tiatrs which were appreciated not only in Goa but also in Mumbai, Mangalore, Delhi and even in Gulf countries.
In the death of M Boyer a void has been created in the field of art and culture, which is very difficult to fill, Kamat said.
The Tiatr Academy of Goa and Dalgado Konknni Akademi condoling the death of M Boyer, said in his death, the Konkani tiatr stage has lost one of the greatest artistes who contributed immensely for the development of tiatr stage.
General Secretary of GPCC Altinho Gomes has also condoled the death of M Boyer, an icon of Konkani stage.
The void created in the death of Boyer would be difficult to fill, he said. Gomes also said Panzorconi had a special place in the heart of Boyer as it is in this village that he had started his career on the Konkani stage as a child artiste.
The BJP cultural cell has condoled the death of M Boyer, a multifaceted personality and a noted tiatrist, Musician, and singer in Konkani.
Sidhanath Buyao, Convenor of the BJP cultural cell, has said that M Boyer was the great musician and dramatist. He has played major role in Konkani Music, thus he will be remembered every day through his work he contributed through dramas and music.
