PANJIM: Congress and its alliance partner Goa Forward Party (GFP) on Tuesday demanded to withhold police recruitment process taking place, whilst the election model code of conduct is in force.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Girish Chodankar in separate letters to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police (DGP) stated that BJP govt is trying to recruit candidates, who had failed in the physical test and their written test marks were manipulated.
