PANJIM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) senior spokesman Trajano D’Mello on Friday warned that any move by the party to align with the forces which worked to destroy Goa including the heritage places in the ensuing Assembly elections, would be a political suicide.
“In the forthcoming Assembly elections any adventurous attempt by our party to shake hands with the same hands that worked to destroy Goa not even sparing the heritage site hurting sentiments of every Goenkar would be political suicide,” Trajano said in a tweet. Trajano’s tweet was indirectly targeted at the Goa Forward Party (GFP), which wants pre-poll alliance between the two parties.
