MARGAO: Commenting on the Supreme Court verdict upholding the disqualification of the 17 defecting Karnataka Congress MLAs joining BJP, the Goa Forward President (GFP) Vijai Sardessai said that the reason for the Congress in Goa not filing case against their MLAs who defected was because they themselves sent them to BJP.
“The Goan people have to be alert. The Goa Congress did not file case against their defectors as they knew this could happen. Congress themselves sent them,” Sardessai said speaking on the 10 Goa Congress MLAs who joined BJP recently.
