MARGAO: The South Goa District Congress Committee (SGDCC) on Thursday observed the 57th death anniversary of late Jawaharlal Nehru by paying floral tributes at the District Office.
The District President Joseph Dias and former power minister Aleixo Sequeira garlanded the portrait of the Architect of Modern India and paid rich tributes.
The function was attended by Goa Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Subhash Faldesai, SGDCC Vice President Yemane D’Souza, Treasurer Peter Gomes, Executive Member Floriano Colaco, and Vasco Block General Secretary Ularico Rodrigues.
