Cong RTI Cell: Direct depts to update websites

PANJIM: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) RTI Cell has issued a notice to the Goa government to immediately direct all its departments to update their websites with appropriate security certificates within a month, failing which the party will approach the High Court for appropriate reliefs.

In a letter to the Chief Secretary, GPCC RTI Cell chairman Dominic Noronha said most official websites of State government have not procured renewal of security certificates thus forcing the citizens to surf insecure websites thus making their gadgets like smart phones, computers, laptops, ipads and notebooks vulnerable to hacking by malicious sites.
