PANJIM: The Congress party on Friday claimed that the BJP-led government has failed to put in place the infrastructure for start-ups, even though it has launched the Start-up Policy 2017.
Speaking to media persons after the State Executive meeting, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Shantaram Naik said people will have to wait for 30 days to know how many start-ups have been processed by the government.
“The required infrastructure like land measuring 20,000 sq metres is not been made available by the government. There is no proper planning,” he said.
The State Executive Committee paid tribute to former MP late Amrut Kansar, who died earlier this week. It also congratulated the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) over its victory in Delhi University election.
