PANJIM: The fate of Congressman aspiring to contest the ensuing LS polls will be decided by the high command’s scrutiny committee in New Delhi This is inspite of the fact that the NCP expressed its determination that it will contest the North Goa seat.
Opposition leader Pratapsing Rane and GPCC?President John Fernandes will fly to Delhi on Tuesday to present the committee chief Madhu Sudan Mistry the recommended names. Fernandes, however refused to divulge the details.
Meanwhile, NCP delegation led by President Nilkant Halarnkar met the party chief Sharad Pawar with regard to the polls.
