PANJIM: Recently-appointed All India Congress Committee (AICC), Goa Secretary, Amit Deshmukh, will be on two-day visit to Goa from Wednesday.
During the recent reshuffle, Deshmukh was appointed to assist AICC General Secretary and Goa desk in-charge Dr Chella Kumar in managing the party affairs in Goa.
During his visit, Deshmukh will meet with members of the State Executive, CLP and block committees.
and review the membership drive and organisational elections. The membership drive concludes on May 31.
The AICC leader will also oversee preparations for the forthcoming by-elections in Panjim and Valpoi and the June 11 Panchayat elections.
