PANJIM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) member Sanjay Barde on Thursday slammed the State government for imposing Section 144 CrPC at Pernem.
Barde said that the protests at Pernem have been going on for nearly four years but no local or taxi men have ever resorted to violence. He demanded that the government should immediately withdraw this preventive order.
