PANJIM: As part of the nationwide fast organised by AICC, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) will fast on Monday at Azad Maidan to promote harmony in society.
GPCC President Shantaram Naik said BJP is out to divide the country on communal lines. “BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj said that Hindu mahilas should produce at least four children each, in order to increase the Hindu population in the country. Sometime back when Sadhavi Saraswati in Goa said those who eat beef should be flogged to death in a public square,” Naik said.
Leader of the Opposition Chandrakant (Babu) Kavalekar said BJP is a destructive force and they cannot remain satisfied unless they succeed in creating turmoil in society.
